We have a fully functioning live kitchen in our showroom and we love to cook! We offer cooking classes with regional chefs in a laid back non-intimidating setting. Our classes are no more than 12 people and you can interact with the chefs ask questions and learn some trade secrets. Even if you cant boil and egg, we promise you will walk away learning something and be eager to try it at home. Our classes are usually 3-4 courses and beer and wine is included in the price.
If you would like to have a cooking class with all your besties we can do that too! If you have 10 people we can host your own event with the chef of your choice or we can give you some suggestions. We also offer private dinners or small parties in our space.

Kat Nesbit & Mae Gould of TasteBuds – St.Simons – Dec 14th – 6:00pm
Introducing TasteBuds! The best In-Home Catering Service on Saint Simons. Between these two ladies you could count a lot of years of experience but we won’t bother with those silly details right now. What is important is that they bring a lot of experience, appreciation, and the joy of hospitality to you.
Their cooking is rooted in French, Creole and good old southern comfort; often a little kicky, always rich and flavorful.
Join Chef’s Kat & Mae for an evening of holiday play! The ladies intend to share more than a few appetizers you can wow your guests and friends with this season, pairing them with the perfect wine combinations for delightful palate pleasers.
Born in New Orleans and raised by jazz musicians, Kat Nesbit was well versed in the arts of fine living; food, debauchery and live entertainment, at an early age. Naturally, while still in high school, she began her career in hospitality gladly slaving for European & locally trained chefs. That was a while ago.
Mae Wayne Gould was born in Georgia and raised in Dublin where she spent many years at the Dublin Country Club honing her abilities in the front of the house and then catering here at the YumYum Shop where if you ever met her, you remember Mae.
